Yokogawa releases MT300 Series Digital Manometers
Yokogawa Test & Measurement Corporation has recently released the MT300 digital manometers.
It is a new product of Yokogawa series that will succeed the MT200 digital manometers used in a broad range of applications such as the calibration of measuring instruments, development and production of electronic devices, and plant maintenance.
The MT300 series digital manometers feature a number of enhancements that include an extended measurement accuracy guarantee period.
Development Background
With the increasing need to conform to a variety of standards used in product development and production processes, measurement instruments need to be calibrated more frequently. In addition, as data is periodically collected for use in quality control, there is the need to improve the management of acquired data and enhance the convenience of data collection. Based on its long years of experience with pressure measurement products, Yokogawa Test & Measurement has developed a new series of digital manometers with enhanced performance and new functions that meet its customers’ latest needs.
Product Features
Support of multiple pressure ranges for a variety of applications
The MT300 lineup consists of gauge pressure, absolute pressure, and differential pressure models that cover nine different ranges, from 1 kPa differential pressure to 3500 kPa gauge pressure, and thus are suitable for a wide variety of applications.
High accuracy and long-term stability
As with the MT200 series, the MT300 series digital manometers are equipped with a Yokogawa silicon resonant sensor that is insensitive to temperature changes and features good long-term stability and high repeatability, enabling highly accurate measurements. Based on the excellent stability that these digital manometers have demonstrated over the years, the pressure measurement accuracy guarantee period for the MT300 series has been extended from six months to a full year.
Enhanced functionality
For greater accuracy and reduction of uncertainty in pressure measurement and calibration, an MT300 option is available that increases the display resolution by one digit. Also, up to four units can be measured synchronously, improving accuracy by such means as eliminating the variations when measurements are taken under fluctuating atmospheric pressure conditions. In addition, for improved connectivity with personal computers, MT300 digital manometers now all come with GP-IB, USB, and Ethernet ports. These enhancements all contribute to increased efficiency in the collection of data and calibration of devices.
